An internationally respected financial technology organization is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Digital Banking Applications Developer to help build secure, scalable, and intelligent banking platforms that support millions of retail, corporate, and institutional customers across the GCC and global financial markets.
This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical software powering digital accounts, instant payments, lending ecosystems, merchant acquiring, and financial automation. You will collaborate with world-class engineers, enterprise architects, cybersecurity specialists, AI experts, and cloud engineers to deliver innovative financial technology products that redefine modern banking.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Enterprise Software Development
- Design and build enterprise-scale fintech applications.
- Develop secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Engineer real-time payment processing systems.
- Create reusable backend frameworks and shared services.
- Integrate digital banking and payment platforms.
- Develop event-driven microservices supporting high transaction volumes.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Build cloud-native financial applications.
- Implement containerized deployment strategies.
- Improve platform resilience and scalability.
- Optimize system monitoring and observability.
- Automate software delivery using CI/CD pipelines.
Technical Leadership
- Participate in software architecture governance.
- Conduct peer code reviews.
- Mentor software engineers.
- Promote engineering excellence and secure development practices.
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, or ASP.NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
