Position Summary
A rapidly growing fintech enterprise is strengthening its engineering organization by recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead automation initiatives supporting high-volume payment processing systems and enterprise financial applications.
Working alongside Software Engineers, Security Architects, Infrastructure Specialists, and Product Engineering teams, you will modernize cloud operations, enhance deployment reliability, and establish engineering best practices that enable continuous innovation while maintaining exceptional platform stability.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Automation
- Design enterprise automation frameworks.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines across multiple development environments.
- Improve deployment reliability through automated quality controls.
- Standardize engineering workflows.
Infrastructure Management
- Administer cloud-native infrastructure.
- Optimize Kubernetes environments.
- Improve system scalability.
- Enhance production resilience.
Security & Compliance
- Integrate security into deployment pipelines.
- Manage secrets and privileged access.
- Support infrastructure compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams.
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Build enterprise observability solutions.
- Develop intelligent monitoring dashboards.
- Respond to production incidents.
- Lead post-incident reviews and service improvements.
Engineering Collaboration
- Mentor DevOps engineers.
- Support developer productivity initiatives.
- Improve software delivery lifecycle efficiency.
- Contribute to platform architecture planning.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of financial technology environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
