A globally recognized fintech banking institution is seeking a highly accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Digital Banking Platforms to accelerate the delivery of secure, resilient, and highly scalable banking technology solutions. This strategic engineering role is designed for an experienced DevOps professional who is passionate about automation, cloud-native architecture, infrastructure modernization, platform reliability, and continuous software delivery within mission-critical financial environments.
As the organization expands its digital banking ecosystem through real-time payments, embedded finance, AI-powered financial services, API banking, intelligent customer platforms, and cloud-first technology strategies, the successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and maintaining modern DevSecOps environments capable of supporting millions of secure financial transactions every day.
Working closely with Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Cybersecurity Specialists, Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, Product Managers, Quality Assurance teams, Compliance professionals, and Executive Technology Leadership, you will contribute directly to building one of the Gulf region’s most advanced fintech infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously optimize enterprise DevOps pipelines supporting digital banking platforms.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Build highly available CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical fintech applications.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters supporting microservices-based banking architectures.
- Implement automated testing, deployment, rollback, and release orchestration processes.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve application reliability and deployment efficiency.
- Integrate security controls into software development and deployment pipelines following DevSecOps principles.
- Monitor cloud environments using enterprise observability platforms and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup automation, and infrastructure resilience strategies.
- Support zero-downtime deployment initiatives across digital banking environments.
- Participate in architecture reviews, production readiness assessments, and incident response activities.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers while establishing engineering standards and automation best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation experience within fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise technology organizations.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and secure infrastructure engineering.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps environments.
