Protect, Monitor, and Optimize Institutional Bitcoin Operations
An internationally respected fintech banking institution is establishing a specialized Digital Asset Operations Centre and is seeking a highly analytical Senior Bitcoin Risk & Operations Specialist to oversee operational integrity, transaction lifecycle management, risk monitoring, and business continuity across enterprise Bitcoin services.
This position combines operational excellence with strategic oversight, ensuring that digital asset processes remain secure, efficient, resilient, and aligned with organizational governance standards. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Treasury, Customer Operations, and Executive Leadership to strengthen the institution’s digital asset operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise Bitcoin transaction workflows.
- Coordinate operational activities supporting institutional digital asset services.
- Perform transaction reconciliation and operational reviews.
- Conduct operational risk assessments and control testing.
- Investigate transaction exceptions and operational incidents.
- Develop operational performance dashboards.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain documentation covering operational procedures and governance.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.
- Support operational readiness for new digital asset services.
- Mentor junior operations professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Financial Technology, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in banking operations, fintech operations, digital asset operations, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
