Role Overview

Oman’s fintech ecosystem is advancing toward data-centric, intelligence-powered financial systems—prioritizing predictive analytics, granular risk modelling, high-integrity data governance, and machine-learning automation across banking, payments, and wealth platforms.

The Senior Architect will oversee the end-to-end intelligence layer underpinning financial operations: from data acquisition pipelines to AI-based scoring engines, from governance frameworks to institution-scale predictive-risk structures.

Primary Responsibilities

1. AI-Enabled Financial Intelligence Systems

• Develop ML-powered risk indicators, behavioral analytics modules, credit modelling frameworks, and real-time scoring algorithms.

• Architect intelligence pipelines integrating structured/unstructured data, event-streaming systems, and multi-source financial telemetry.

2. Data Governance & Integrity Architecture

• Design and enforce enterprise-wide data governance models, lineage controls, auditability frameworks, and access-privilege segmentation.

• Create compliance-aligned data-processing standards incorporating anonymization, encryption, and lifecycle integrity.

3. Financial Infrastructure Integration

• Embed intelligence engines into payments systems, lending workflows, onboarding processes, and digital-wealth platforms.

• Establish unified analytical layers connecting transactional data, customer profiles, and operational performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in AI systems, financial analytics, data engineering, or advanced fintech architecture.

• Mastery of ML modelling, risk analytics, data-governance frameworks, and intelligence-layer engineering.

• Strong understanding of GCC financial modernization initiatives.
