Position Overview

A forward-looking institution in Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to develop secure technology architectures that support cloud adoption, digital innovation, and enterprise resilience.

The successful candidate will play a strategic role in designing security frameworks that protect cloud environments, digital platforms, business applications, and critical information assets while enabling innovation and operational efficiency.

This position requires close collaboration with enterprise architects, cloud engineers, infrastructure specialists, software developers, risk managers, and executive leadership to ensure security is embedded throughout the technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise cloud security architecture.

• Develop secure infrastructure standards.

• Lead architecture reviews for new systems and applications.

• Define identity and access management strategies.

• Implement security governance frameworks.

• Support cloud migration security initiatives.

• Develop secure network architecture.

• Integrate security into CI/CD environments.

• Evaluate third-party technology security risks.

• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

• Prepare enterprise security standards and documentation.

• Monitor security trends and recommend improvements.

• Conduct architecture risk assessments.

• Support compliance with international cybersecurity standards.

• Provide technical leadership across cybersecurity projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in enterprise security architecture.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong understanding of security governance, encryption, network security, IAM, and secure software development.

• Professional security certifications are highly desirable.
