Role Overview
The P2P Lending Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle of a digital lending platform, ensuring efficient borrower onboarding, investor matching, and loan servicing processes. This role requires a balance between financial risk oversight, operational execution, and platform optimization.
You will be responsible for maintaining trust, transparency, and performance within a multi-sided marketplace connecting lenders and borrowers.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the P2P lending platform, including borrower applications and investor participation
- Oversee credit assessment workflows, loan approvals, and disbursement processes
- Monitor loan performance, repayment schedules, and delinquency management
- Implement and refine credit risk models and underwriting criteria
- Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations
- Develop operational dashboards to track lending volumes, default rates, and ROI metrics
- Handle dispute resolution between platform participants
- Optimize onboarding processes to improve user experience and conversion rates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- 5–8 years of experience in lending, fintech operations, or credit risk management
- Strong understanding of loan lifecycle management and credit evaluation
- Familiarity with digital lending platforms and marketplace models
Preferred Skills
- Experience with credit scoring algorithms and risk analytics tools
- Knowledge of alternative data sources for borrower assessment
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
