Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quantitative Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and apply mathematical and statistical models to support data-driven decision-making, risk assessment, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and validate quantitative models to support trading, risk, or investment decisions
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain pricing, valuation, and forecasting models
- Conduct back-testing and stress-testing of models to ensure accuracy and robustness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, product, and engineering
- Monitor model performance over time and recommend improvements or recalibrations
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging quantitative methods, market trends, and regulatory requirements
- Support the automation and optimization of existing analytical workflows
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a quantitative analysis, risk analysis, or data science role
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying statistical or mathematical models in a professional setting
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, market dynamics, and risk metrics
- Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines
- Proven ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts to non-technical audiences
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, R, or C++
- Strong command of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with statistical and machine learning libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels)
- Familiarity with time-series analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, and optimization techniques
- Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/plotly)
- Understanding of probability theory, linear algebra, and stochastic calculus
- Exposure to cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
