Lead the Next Generation of Financial Software Engineering
An innovative fintech organization is recruiting a visionary Principal Software Developer – Financial Platforms to spearhead the design and delivery of sophisticated enterprise financial systems supporting digital banking, wealth management, institutional payments, and intelligent financial analytics.
This strategic position offers the opportunity to influence long-term technology direction while remaining hands-on in software engineering. You will partner with executive leadership, enterprise architects, cybersecurity teams, and product innovators to build secure, scalable, and future-ready financial platforms that meet the highest international engineering standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software architecture for enterprise fintech products.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Build high-performance transaction processing services.
- Develop secure financial APIs and backend frameworks.
- Guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges.
- Establish coding standards and software governance.
- Optimize application security, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and engineering best practices.
- Mentor senior developers and technical leads.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with significant exposure to fintech or enterprise financial systems.
- Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Rust.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native development.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing secure, high-throughput APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
