Role Overview

This role is structured for a fintech professional who understands payments not merely as transactions, but as complex orchestration systems involving routing logic, settlement frameworks, reconciliation engines, and cross-border interoperability.

The Leader will define how modern digital payment ecosystems are architected, governed, and optimized to support high throughput, low latency, and operational resilience across diverse financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end digital payment systems covering initiation, authorization, clearing, and settlement

• Design transaction orchestration frameworks supporting multiple payment rails and currencies

• Establish performance, resilience, and failover standards for mission-critical payment infrastructure

• Define security, encryption, and fraud-mitigation principles at the architectural level

• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure transaction transparency and auditability

• Lead long-term innovation strategy for payment system modernization and scalability

Required Expertise

• 12–16 years in payments engineering, fintech infrastructure, or transaction systems architecture

• Extensive experience with real-time payment platforms and high-volume transaction environments

• Strong understanding of payment economics, reconciliation models, and settlement risk

• Ability to operate as a strategic authority across technical and commercial domains

• Advanced documentation and systems-thinking capability

Salary Structure (Indicative – UAE Market, Remote)

• Base Annual Salary: USD 155,000 – 195,000

• Transaction Performance Bonus: 25% – 35% of base

• Infrastructure Impact Incentive: Linked to system availability and throughput metrics
