Role Mandate

This role is designed for a senior-most fintech architect who operates at the intersection of monetary infrastructure design, large-scale payment orchestration, and embedded financial ecosystems. The position requires an individual capable of conceptualizing, governing, and evolving next-generation payment rails that span card networks, account-to-account transfers, real-time payment schemes, digital wallets, and programmable financial APIs across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will function as a principal-level authority, defining architectural paradigms rather than merely implementing them. This role demands intellectual leadership in designing systems that are resilient, regulation-aware, latency-optimized, and globally interoperable.

Core Strategic Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end digital payment ecosystems supporting high-volume, low-latency, multi-currency transaction flows.

• Design embedded finance frameworks enabling non-financial platforms to natively offer payments, disbursements, escrow, and treasury services.

• Define API governance models, message standards, and interoperability layers aligned with international payment protocols.

• Lead settlement and reconciliation architecture across real-time, batch, and hybrid payment models.

• Establish security, fraud prevention, and transaction-risk frameworks integrated directly into payment orchestration layers.

• Serve as a strategic interface between technology design, regulatory interpretation, and operational scalability.

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Deep experience with payment switching, ISO-based messaging frameworks, real-time payment systems, and ledger synchronization.

• Mastery of cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, and distributed transaction processing.

• Strong command of tokenization, encryption, and payment security standards.

• Advanced understanding of cross-border payment mechanics, FX routing, and settlement finality models.

Professional Profile

• 12+ years in fintech, payments infrastructure, or financial systems architecture.

• Demonstrated leadership in designing payment platforms at national, regional, or multinational scale.

• Exceptional ability to translate regulatory constraints into scalable technical architectures.

• Operates comfortably as both a systems thinker and a strategic decision-maker.
