About the Opportunity
A globally recognized fintech banking institution is seeking an accomplished Principal QA/QC Engineer – Digital Banking Platforms & Enterprise Quality Assurance to lead enterprise-wide quality assurance and quality control initiatives supporting mission-critical digital banking platforms, payment ecosystems, lending solutions, wealth management applications, customer onboarding systems, and AI-enabled financial services.
This strategic engineering leadership position is designed for a highly experienced quality professional who possesses extensive expertise in software testing, enterprise quality governance, automation engineering, regulatory compliance, performance validation, and continuous quality improvement. As the organization continues to expand its digital banking ecosystem across multiple international markets, maintaining world-class software quality, security, resilience, and operational excellence has become a strategic priority.
Working alongside Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Cybersecurity Specialists, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Compliance Officers, Risk Management professionals, and Executive Technology Leadership, you will define enterprise testing standards that ensure every banking solution is secure, scalable, compliant, and customer-centric.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise QA/QC strategies for digital banking applications.
- Define organization-wide software quality standards, governance frameworks, and testing methodologies.
- Lead manual, automated, functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance, API, performance, and security testing initiatives.
- Design enterprise automation frameworks supporting continuous testing and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to establish quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct release readiness assessments and production quality validations.
- Monitor quality metrics, defect trends, release performance, and operational stability.
- Validate compliance with banking regulations, internal quality policies, and secure software engineering practices.
- Coordinate quality assurance activities across multiple Agile delivery teams.
- Produce executive quality reports and technology risk assessments.
- Evaluate emerging testing technologies and recommend enterprise adoption strategies.
- Mentor QA engineers while fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Quality Management, or Information Systems is highly desirable.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or testing leadership within fintech, banking, or enterprise software environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software delivery, DevSecOps, cloud-native applications, and digital banking ecosystems.
