A next-generation financial services institution is seeking a highly specialized Principal Platform DevOps Engineer – Treasury Operations & Institutional Banking Systems to lead infrastructure excellence across treasury platforms, liquidity management systems, institutional settlements, and enterprise banking operations.

This position sits at the center of operational finance where infrastructure directly determines liquidity visibility, treasury resilience, payment continuity, reconciliation accuracy, and enterprise financial control.

The successful engineer will architect and optimize platform systems supporting treasury automation, multi-currency settlements, payment reporting, ERP integrations, and high-value financial workflows across complex institutional environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and optimize DevOps infrastructure supporting treasury systems, settlement platforms, and enterprise banking integrations

• Build scalable automation frameworks for deployment pipelines, reconciliation systems, and financial reporting platforms

• Improve infrastructure reliability across high-value transaction systems, treasury dashboards, and institutional payment workflows

• Collaborate with CFO operations, finance teams, compliance leaders, cybersecurity specialists, and enterprise software engineers

• Develop secure integrations across banking platforms, ERP systems, treasury applications, and cloud-native infrastructure

• Strengthen monitoring, observability, failover systems, and disaster recovery planning across institutional financial operations

• Support modernization involving API banking infrastructure, treasury automation, and cloud transformation initiatives

• Ensure engineering delivery aligns with Oman regulatory requirements, enterprise governance policies, and audit readiness standards

• Lead technical architecture strategy for treasury platform modernization and financial infrastructure growth

• Provide senior mentorship and strategic engineering leadership across platform and DevOps teams

Required Expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Technology, or related discipline

• 8–12+ years of engineering experience across DevOps, fintech infrastructure, banking systems, or treasury technology

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Azure, CI/CD systems, and distributed infrastructure design

• Experience with treasury systems, ERP integrations, payment settlements, and institutional financial platforms

• Strong understanding of compliance-driven engineering and audit-ready platform architecture

• Excellent strategic thinking, executive stakeholder communication, and high-level technical decision-making ability
