About the Role
A leading international fintech banking institution is seeking a forward-thinking Principal – Growth & Strategic Partnerships to spearhead enterprise growth initiatives by building high-value commercial alliances, expanding strategic market opportunities, increasing customer acquisition, and driving revenue acceleration through innovation-led financial technology solutions.
This executive-level role is designed for a commercially minded leader who understands how to combine strategic partnerships, ecosystem development, customer intelligence, product innovation, digital banking technologies, and advanced analytics into scalable growth models that deliver measurable business value.
You will collaborate with executive leadership, Product Strategy, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence teams, Engineering, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, and Customer Experience divisions to establish long-term partnerships that support sustainable growth across the fintech banking ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise partnership strategies supporting regional and international expansion.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through fintech ecosystem collaborations.
- Lead negotiations with technology providers, payment networks, enterprise clients, and financial institutions.
- Build partnership frameworks that accelerate customer acquisition and product adoption.
- Conduct financial modelling and commercial viability assessments.
- Monitor strategic partnership performance using executive dashboards and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Product teams to launch partnership-enabled financial services.
- Evaluate mergers, alliances, and joint commercial initiatives where appropriate.
- Produce executive presentations, board reports, and investment proposals.
- Represent the organization at international banking, fintech, and innovation conferences.
- Mentor commercial teams and promote a culture of strategic collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement across partnership governance and commercial execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business, Marketing, Financial Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Strategy, Finance, or Business Management is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fintech, banking, strategic partnerships, commercial leadership, or corporate development.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-value commercial partnerships and enterprise growth programmes.
- Outstanding executive communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
