Role Overview

An emerging global fintech platform delivering digital financial infrastructure solutions is seeking a Principal Fintech Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of scalable financial technology platforms. The role involves architecting high-performance systems that support digital payments, cross-border transactions, financial APIs, and secure financial data exchange.

This position requires a senior professional with extensive experience in enterprise system architecture, fintech infrastructure design, distributed financial systems, and cloud-based financial platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams, financial product managers, and regulatory specialists to ensure financial technology solutions meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Financial System Architecture

• Design scalable and resilient fintech system architectures capable of handling high-volume financial transactions.

• Develop frameworks for digital payment processing, financial messaging systems, and financial data exchange.

• Ensure system architecture supports interoperability with banking networks and payment processors.

Infrastructure Design & Optimization

• Architect cloud-based fintech platforms supporting secure financial operations.

• Develop strategies for improving system scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Implement redundancy mechanisms to ensure continuous availability of financial services.

Technology Leadership

• Provide technical leadership for engineering teams responsible for fintech platform development.

• Conduct architecture reviews and technical evaluations of financial system components.

• Mentor software engineers and developers on fintech architecture best practices.

Security & Compliance

• Integrate strong security protocols into fintech platforms including encryption and authentication systems.

• Ensure financial systems comply with industry data protection standards.

• Support internal security reviews and system risk assessments.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Financial Technology.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in software architecture, fintech infrastructure, or financial platform engineering.

Technical Expertise
