Role Overview
As financial systems become more interconnected, traditional security models are no longer sufficient. This role is for a cybersecurity expert who can design zero-trust architectures that ensure every interaction within fintech systems is continuously verified and secured.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement zero-trust security frameworks across fintech platforms
- Develop advanced identity and access management (IAM) systems
- Integrate multi-factor authentication (MFA), biometrics, and behavioral analytics
- Monitor systems for unauthorized access and security anomalies
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into system design
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and financial standards
Technical Stack
- Security: IAM platforms, encryption protocols, PKI
- Tools: SIEM systems, threat detection platforms
- Programming: Python, security scripting tools
- Infrastructure: Cloud security frameworks, zero-trust models
- Analytics: Behavioral analytics and anomaly detection
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years in cybersecurity or fintech security roles
- Strong expertise in identity management and zero-trust architecture
- Experience securing financial systems and digital platforms
- Deep understanding of threat modeling and risk mitigation
Preferred Expertise
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM
- Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps
- Knowledge of digital identity frameworks
- Strong incident response and leadership skills
