Position Overview
Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving financial ecosystem is seeking an accomplished Principal FinTech Enterprise Architect to design and oversee enterprise-scale digital banking architecture supporting the Kingdom’s accelerating fintech transformation.
This executive-level remote position offers the opportunity to define next-generation financial platforms capable of supporting millions of customers while enabling innovation across digital banking, embedded finance, AI-powered lending, payment modernization, cloud-native banking infrastructure, financial APIs, regulatory technologies, and intelligent financial ecosystems.
You will establish enterprise architecture standards governing every stage of financial platform development—from conceptual strategy through implementation, optimization, governance, and continuous modernization.
Rather than managing isolated technology projects, you will shape a complete financial technology ecosystem that integrates digital banking, AI automation, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, intelligent analytics, cloud engineering, enterprise data management, and customer-centric innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-wide fintech architecture strategies aligned with Saudi Arabia’s financial modernization initiatives.
- Lead cloud-native banking transformation programs utilizing microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Design scalable Open Banking ecosystems supporting secure API monetization.
- Architect enterprise payment infrastructures supporting instant payments, digital wallets, merchant acquiring, and embedded finance.
- Build resilient multi-cloud financial platforms with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Design enterprise integration architecture connecting banking systems, fintech platforms, identity providers, and government digital services.
- Lead modernization of legacy banking infrastructure.
- Define enterprise security architecture incorporating Zero Trust, AI threat intelligence, encryption, and identity governance.
- Guide enterprise AI implementation supporting fraud detection, intelligent underwriting, customer analytics, and operational automation.
- Create enterprise architecture governance frameworks ensuring regulatory compliance and technical consistency.

- Deep understanding of enterprise integration.
- Extensive digital banking architecture experience.
- Strong executive communication abilities.
