Strategic Purpose
This role exists to design, govern, and future-proof national-scale digital payments orchestration frameworks capable of sustaining extreme transaction velocity, multi-channel complexity, and continuous availability. The Principal Executive Architect will operate at the structural core of fintech payment ecosystems, ensuring that transaction routing, authorisation logic, settlement sequencing, and exception handling function as a coherent, deterministic system rather than fragmented operational layers.
The mandate is neither product management nor day-to-day operations. It is architectural sovereignty over how money moves digitally, how payments are sequenced, how failures are isolated, and how systems evolve without destabilising the financial fabric.
Core Responsibilities & Executive Authority

Architect and govern end-to-end digital payment orchestration layers, including routing engines, authorisation flows, and settlement coordination mechanisms.

Define executive standards for latency tolerance, throughput ceilings, concurrency handling, and transaction finality.

Establish system-level doctrines for payment resilience, failover isolation, and graceful degradation.

Oversee architectural alignment between payment initiation channels and downstream financial systems.

Design multi-year evolution strategies addressing volume growth, protocol changes, and systemic complexity.

Serve as final authority on payment system integrity, scalability thresholds, and architectural trade-offs.
Executive Profile

18–25+ years within fintech payments architecture, large-scale transaction platforms, or financial infrastructure engineering.

Proven stewardship of high-volume, low-latency payment environments.

Deep understanding of transaction lifecycles, settlement logic, and distributed orchestration systems.

Executive credibility paired with strong technical judgment.

Demonstrated ability to operate at infrastructure-defining scale.
Compensation Structure (Kuwait)

Base Salary: KWD 9,000 – 13,000 per month

Annual Executive Incentive: 35% – 55% of base salary
