SYSTEM PURPOSE
Within Qatar, financial institutions are converging on standardized messaging frameworks to enable interoperability, transparency, and automation across global financial systems.
This role focuses on designing financial messaging infrastructures, ensuring seamless communication between:
- Banks
- Payment systems
- Financial institutions
CORE ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES]
2.1 Financial Messaging Architecture
- Design systems supporting:
- ISO 20022 message formats
- Legacy message transformation (MT → MX)
- Ensure compatibility across financial networks
2.2 Interbank Connectivity Systems
- Build connectivity layers for:
- Domestic payment systems
- Cross-border financial networks
- Enable secure and reliable communication
2.3 Message Processing & Routing Engines
- Develop systems for:
- High-speed message validation
- Intelligent routing
- Ensure low-latency processing
2.4 Data Enrichment & Transformation
- Implement:
- Data mapping frameworks
- Message enrichment pipelines
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
2.5 Security & Compliance
- Ensure:
- Message integrity
- Secure transmission protocols
- Align with financial regulations
