Position Overview

An established enterprise in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst – Business Intelligence & Analytics to transform complex business data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, marketing, technology, and executive leadership, to develop dashboards, automate reporting, identify business trends, and improve organizational performance through data-driven recommendations.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical thinking, advanced reporting skills, and experience working with modern data visualization and business intelligence platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple business sources.

• Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.

• Create automated reports for executive management.

• Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.

• Support forecasting and business planning initiatives.

• Design and maintain KPI dashboards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

• Perform ad hoc data analysis for strategic projects.

• Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.

• Assist with data governance and quality initiatives.

• Present analytical findings to senior management.

• Recommend process improvements based on analytical insights.

• Support digital transformation and business intelligence projects.

• Document analytical methodologies and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.

• Strong Excel skills including Power Query and PivotTables.

• Knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.
