Role Overview
Embedded finance is redefining how financial services are distributed—moving them from standalone institutions into contextual, invisible layers within digital platforms. This role is for a senior architect who can design and scale financial capabilities embedded within ecosystems such as e-commerce, mobility, and enterprise platforms.
You will own the monetization architecture behind these services—ensuring that embedded financial offerings generate sustainable revenue while enhancing user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect embedded finance frameworks integrating payments, lending, insurance, and wallet services
- Design monetization models, including transaction-based revenue, subscriptions, and revenue-sharing structures
- Build API-first financial services platforms for seamless integration into third-party ecosystems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of embedded services
- Analyze platform performance to optimize revenue streams and user engagement
- Establish governance frameworks for risk, compliance, and partner integrations
- Drive innovation in contextual financial services delivery
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years in fintech, platform strategy, or digital financial services
- Strong understanding of embedded finance and platform economics
- Experience designing API-driven financial ecosystems
- Proven ability to align technical architecture with revenue strategy
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with super-app ecosystems or marketplace platforms
- Knowledge of data-driven monetization strategies
- Familiarity with cross-border embedded finance models
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
