A forward-thinking fintech enterprise is seeking an exceptional Principal Embedded Finance Developer to lead the development of secure, API-driven financial platforms that enable embedded payments, digital lending, account aggregation, merchant financial services, and intelligent financial experiences.
As a senior technical leader, you will influence platform architecture, mentor engineering teams, and deliver enterprise-grade solutions that support rapidly evolving financial ecosystems across the Gulf region and beyond.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of embedded finance platforms.
- Build secure API gateways and financial integration services.
- Develop real-time payment and settlement systems.
- Design scalable event-driven software architectures.
- Implement cloud-native financial applications.
- Integrate identity verification and authentication frameworks.
- Optimize application performance for high-volume financial operations.
- Collaborate with product managers, security engineers, and solution architects.
- Establish software development standards and engineering governance.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies and automation.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Go, Python, or Rust.
- Experience with Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, or similar enterprise frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, encryption, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API security.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
