The Mission
We are looking for an exceptionally capable Architect to design the technological foundations of sophisticated financial ecosystems.
The role sits at the convergence of financial engineering, distributed systems, payment infrastructure, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, data intelligence and digital banking.
You will be responsible for transforming complex financial requirements into resilient, scalable and intelligent technology architectures capable of supporting high-volume transactions, real-time analytics and continuously evolving financial products.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Architecture

Design enterprise-grade architectures for digital financial platforms.

Develop scalable payment-processing and transaction-management frameworks.

Architect APIs, microservices and distributed financial systems.

Establish interoperability between banking, payment and fintech platforms.

Design systems capable of supporting high transaction volumes and demanding availability requirements.
Technology Leadership

Define cloud-native architecture strategies.

Evaluate emerging technologies for practical financial applications.

Establish architectural standards across engineering teams.

Guide technology modernization and platform migration programmes.

Provide technical direction across complex digital-finance initiatives.
Intelligence & Security
-
Incorporate AI and advanced analytics into financial platforms.

Design data architectures supporting real-time decision-making.

Strengthen identity, authentication and fraud-prevention architectures.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop resilient financial infrastructure.

Establish technology controls for reliability, observability and operational continuity.
Strategic Contribution
Beyond technical architecture, the Architect will work closely with product, finance, risk and executive stakeholders to ensure that technology investments produce measurable commercial outcomes.
The role requires someone who can discuss distributed systems with engineers, financial economics with executives, product strategy with product leaders, and commercial priorities with business stakeholders—without losing precision in any of those conversations.
