Role Overview

The Remote Principal Digital Banking & Embedded Finance Architect will shape the next-generation digital financial infrastructure engineered for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on end-to-end architecture design, platform modularization, real-time financial orchestration, embedded finance frameworks, and digital ecosystem enablement. The candidate must demonstrate deep mastery of digital banking stacks, cloud-native financial microservices, multi-rail orchestration, and secure financial data frameworks aligned with advanced GCC market models.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect modular, cloud-native digital banking platforms incorporating microservices, API-driven orchestration, hyper-scalable data layers, and zero-trust security principles.

• Lead the blueprint for embedded finance ecosystems—including lending automation, insurance integrations, merchant credit, advanced payouts, and treasury connectivity.

• Engineer multi-domain orchestration layers enabling accounts, payments, digital onboarding, real-time risk engines, and behavioral analytics pipelines.

• Establish enterprise-wide API governance, financial data standards, operational resilience models, auditability, and regulatory-aligned security controls.

• Oversee architectural modernization of transaction processing engines, event-stream infrastructures, and intelligent banking workflows.

• Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional digital transformation, financial engineering, treasury, and risk teams supporting Saudi-based market operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital banking platforms, financial systems engineering, or enterprise fintech architecture.

• Expert understanding of microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-availability infrastructure.

• Strong expertise in digital onboarding, customer lifecycle intelligence, financial data modeling, and regulatory-grade security frameworks.

• Proven capability in designing embedded finance products, API ecosystems, and multi-domain financial services integration.
