To support this vision, we are seeking a distinguished Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the design of enterprise infrastructure that enables AI-powered banking applications, intelligent fraud detection, digital lending, customer analytics, and next-generation payment ecosystems.
This executive-level engineering opportunity combines cloud architecture, automation, platform reliability, and strategic technology leadership within one of the Gulf region’s most advanced financial technology environments.
You will collaborate with Enterprise Architects, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineering Managers, Cloud Architects, Cybersecurity Teams, Infrastructure Engineers, and Executive Technology Leadership to establish the operational foundation supporting future digital banking innovation.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise DevOps strategy across cloud-native banking platforms.
- Design highly resilient infrastructure supporting AI and data-intensive workloads.
- Build automated operational frameworks using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Define engineering standards for reliability, observability, and automation.
- Develop enterprise monitoring, logging, and incident response architectures.
- Support large-scale cloud transformation programmes.
- Optimize cloud cost management and infrastructure performance.
- Establish disaster recovery and resilience strategies.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads.
- Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies and recommend enterprise adoption.
- Support executive technology planning and long-term infrastructure strategy.
- Drive continuous engineering excellence across multiple technology domains.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, or platform engineering.
- Proven expertise designing enterprise-scale infrastructure for financial services or other high-availability environments.
