Lead the Engineering Vision Behind Next-Generation Financial Services
An internationally focused fintech enterprise is establishing a Centre of Engineering Excellence dedicated to building intelligent, cloud-native financial platforms for banks, investment firms, insurance providers, and digital payment ecosystems.
As Principal Cloud FinTech Developer, you will define technical strategy, architect enterprise software solutions, and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in developing secure, scalable, and resilient financial technology platforms that support millions of users across the GCC and international markets.
This position is ideal for technology leaders who combine deep software engineering expertise with a passion for innovation, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
Architecture & Development
- Design enterprise cloud-native fintech platforms.
- Develop distributed financial applications.
- Build secure APIs and integration services.
- Create resilient microservices architectures.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Lead modernization initiatives for enterprise software.
Engineering Leadership
- Define engineering standards and best practices.
- Mentor senior software engineers and technical leads.
- Conduct architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders on technology strategy.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies.
Platform Reliability
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions.
- Enhance cloud security and resilience.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Improve disaster recovery capabilities.
- Ensure high availability of mission-critical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 8+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
- Advanced expertise in Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
- Extensive experience with cloud-native application development.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
