Position Mandate
We are seeking a highly accomplished Principal to provide technical leadership across blockchain infrastructure, digital-asset platforms and distributed financial systems.
This role is designed for an experienced technology professional capable of moving beyond individual engineering tasks to define infrastructure strategy, establish technical standards and guide the development of secure, scalable digital-asset environments.
Key Responsibilities

Define technical architecture for blockchain-enabled financial platforms.

Lead infrastructure strategy across distributed-ledger and digital-asset environments.

Evaluate blockchain protocols, custody technologies and transaction-processing architectures.

Establish standards for scalability, availability, observability and operational resilience.

Collaborate with engineering teams on smart-contract and blockchain integrations.

Assess infrastructure risks associated with digital-asset transaction flows.
-
Develop technology roadmaps aligned with commercial and product objectives.

Provide technical direction on API, node, wallet and blockchain-service integrations.

Lead architecture reviews and challenge technical assumptions where appropriate.

Mentor senior engineers and contribute to long-term engineering capability development.
Required Experience
-
9+ years in software engineering, financial technology, distributed systems or related fields.

Demonstrable expertise in blockchain architecture and digital-asset infrastructure.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud computing and cybersecurity.

Experience working with blockchain nodes, wallets, smart contracts or transaction infrastructure.

Strong architectural documentation and technical leadership skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

Indicative Compensation
AED 45,000–65,000 per month, depending on experience and technical scope, plus executive benefits.
