The Opportunity
A high-calibre opportunity for a Principal capable of designing the technological foundations of next-generation financial infrastructure.
This role is positioned for a professional who understands that blockchain technology is no longer merely an experimental concept. Properly engineered, distributed-ledger infrastructure can influence settlement, asset representation, transaction transparency, reconciliation, identity, custody and cross-border financial connectivity.
You will develop technology strategies that transform complex digital-asset concepts into secure, scalable and commercially meaningful financial infrastructure.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design enterprise blockchain and distributed-ledger architectures.

Evaluate tokenisation and digital-asset infrastructure opportunities.

Develop scalable transaction and settlement architectures.

Establish interoperability frameworks connecting blockchain networks with conventional financial infrastructure.

Lead architectural assessments covering scalability, resilience, security and performance.

Define API and integration strategies for digital financial platforms.

Collaborate with engineering, product, compliance, cybersecurity and financial-operations teams.

Assess emerging blockchain protocols and determine practical enterprise applications.

Develop technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives.

Establish technical standards for digital-asset infrastructure and platform reliability.
Technical Mandate
The successful professional will bring sophisticated knowledge across areas such as:

Ideal Profile

8–15 years of technology, fintech, banking or financial-infrastructure experience.

Strong blockchain or distributed-systems expertise.

Experience architecting enterprise-scale technology platforms.

Understanding of digital payments and financial-market infrastructure.

Strong cybersecurity and technology-governance awareness.

Excellent analytical and strategic communication skills.

Indicative Compensation
BHD 5,000–7,500 monthly, depending on expertise and strategic scope, with potential performance incentives and executive benefits.
