Role Overview

This role is engineered for a high-level fintech technologist responsible for building Kuwait-aligned blockchain infrastructure standards, digital asset governance models, high-assurance custody frameworks, and secure tokenization systems for institutional finance.

The engineer will craft the architectural foundations for compliant digital assets, programmable finance models, cross-border token settlement, and enterprise-grade private blockchain networks.

Core Responsibilities

Blockchain Infrastructure Engineering & Protocol Design

• Architect scalable, high-assurance blockchain networks supporting secure tokenization, asset lifecycle management, and multi-party transaction settlement.

• Design interoperability frameworks enabling cross-chain bridges, oracle systems, and institutional clearing protocols.

• Lead deployment of privacy-enhancing blockchain modules including ZKPs, secure enclaves, and permissioned consortium structures.

Digital Asset Policy, Governance & Controls

• Develop Kuwait-adapted digital asset governance models, including enterprise wallet controls, smart contract assurance frameworks, and custody security protocols.

• Implement automated compliance engines embedding AML, sanctions screening, and jurisdiction-based asset controls.

Tokenization, Smart Contracts & Cross-Border Settlement

• Engineer institutional tokenization models for payments, investment products, corporate instruments, and real-world assets.

• Lead smart contract design using policy-aware logic, programmable settlement rules, and multi-layer verification.

• Design cross-border token settlement corridors integrating with global fintech networks.

Experience & Competencies

• 10–15+ years in blockchain engineering, distributed ledgers, digital asset governance, or financial infrastructure design.

• Mastery of smart contract protocols, token lifecycle management, consensus architecture, and cryptographic security.

• Strong understanding of GCC digital asset regulatory expectations, particularly in Kuwait’s evolving fintech environment.

• Ability to translate policy requirements into technical infrastructure blueprints.
