Position Overview
A globally expanding fintech banking organization is seeking an experienced Principal Banking Data Analytics Specialist – Risk, Payments & Customer Insights to deliver advanced analytical solutions supporting enterprise decision-making across digital banking, payment ecosystems, customer experience, operational performance, and strategic growth initiatives.
This strategic role requires a highly analytical professional capable of transforming structured and unstructured financial data into meaningful business intelligence. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Fraud Prevention, Compliance, Risk Management, Treasury, Finance, Customer Experience, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology teams to develop enterprise analytics that strengthen organizational performance while enabling innovation across digital financial services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated analytical models supporting banking operations and strategic planning.
- Analyze payment transactions, customer behavior, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Build enterprise dashboards for executive leadership and business stakeholders.
- Conduct profitability analysis, forecasting, trend identification, and KPI monitoring.
- Support fraud analytics, operational risk assessments, and financial reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize enterprise data infrastructure.
- Perform customer lifetime value analysis and retention modeling.
- Identify process optimization opportunities through advanced analytics.
- Produce executive reports with actionable business recommendations.
- Ensure data governance, quality assurance, and analytical accuracy.
- Participate in enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Mentor analysts while promoting analytical best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Master’s qualification preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in business intelligence, financial analytics, or enterprise data analysis within fintech or banking.
- Strong understanding of digital banking products, payment ecosystems, and financial operations.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation capabilities.
