Principal Architect – Real-Time Payments & Open Finance Infrastructure
Manama, Bahrain
A highly advanced Gulf fintech environment focused on next-generation payment modernization, real-time financial interoperability, and open banking expansion is seeking a Principal Architect – Real-Time Payments & Open Finance Infrastructure to lead the design and evolution of national-scale transaction systems and cross-border financial connectivity frameworks.

- Collaborate with regulators on financial infrastructure modernization and compliance frameworks.
- Optimize transaction latency, throughput, and system reliability across distributed environments.
- Lead technical governance across engineering, architecture, and platform teams.
- Evaluate emerging payment technologies including tokenization, CBDCs, and programmable money frameworks.
- Ensure scalability for millions of concurrent real-time financial transactions.
