Commercial Mission
We are looking for a commercially minded Manager — Merchant Payments, POS Innovation & Digital Commerce to lead the evolution of technology and commercial strategies surrounding merchant payment acceptance.
The successful candidate will manage initiatives across POS ecosystems, digital payments, merchant acquisition, transaction optimization and payment-product innovation, with a strong focus on improving the economics and usability of merchant financial technology.
Core Responsibilities

Develop strategies for merchant-payment products and POS ecosystems.

Identify opportunities to expand payment acceptance across merchant segments.

Analyze transaction performance and merchant behavior.

Develop strategies for increasing payment volume and merchant engagement.

Evaluate next-generation POS and payment technologies.

Coordinate product development for merchant-facing financial solutions.

Analyze merchant acquisition, activation and retention metrics.

Develop pricing and commercial models for payment services.
-
Identify opportunities for embedded financial services within merchant platforms.

Work with engineering teams to improve payment-system performance.
-
Monitor authorization rates, transaction failures and payment friction.

Develop merchant segmentation and targeted product strategies.
-
Establish performance dashboards for payment and merchant operations.
-
Coordinate partnerships with technology providers and commercial stakeholders.

Prepare business cases for new merchant-fintech propositions.

Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
Commercial Metrics
The Manager will monitor metrics such as:
Transaction Volume | Merchant Activation | Payment Success Rate | Average Transaction Value | Revenue per Merchant | Retention | Customer Acquisition Cost | Payment Conversion | Product Adoption
Candidate Requirements

7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, digital commerce, banking or merchant technology.

Strong understanding of POS and payment ecosystems.

Experience managing fintech products or commercial programs.

Strong financial and operational analysis skills.

Excellent stakeholder-management and negotiation capabilities.

Understanding of payment technology and transaction processing.

Demonstrated ability to convert commercial opportunities into executable initiatives.
