Lead RegTech Solutions Architect & Compliance Automation Specialist – Manama, Bahrain
Role Context
As financial systems grow more complex, regulatory compliance has become a technology challenge as much as a legal one. This role is for a specialist who can design RegTech solutions that automate compliance, reduce risk, and enhance transparency across fintech operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect compliance automation platforms for AML, transaction monitoring, and reporting
- Design rule-based and AI-driven systems for detecting suspicious activities
- Build regulatory reporting engines aligned with local and international standards
- Integrate compliance systems with core banking, payment platforms, and digital channels
- Develop audit trails and data governance frameworks for regulatory oversight
- Collaborate with regulators to ensure systems remain aligned with evolving policies
Technology Stack
- Data Processing: Spark, Kafka, real-time analytics systems
- AI/ML: Anomaly detection, pattern recognition models
- Programming: Python, Java
- Integration: API-based compliance layers
- Security: Data encryption, secure audit logging
Ideal Candidate
- 8–12 years in compliance technology, RegTech, or financial risk systems
- Strong knowledge of AML, fraud detection, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Experience building automated compliance solutions in fintech environments
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable technical systems
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
