Role Summary

The Lead Digital Asset & Blockchain Operations Engineer will be responsible for operational excellence, infrastructure reliability, and lifecycle governance of digital-asset systems deployed across distributed ledger environments within Saudi Arabia. The role requires expertise in blockchain node management, protocol operations, smart contract execution environments, and infrastructure scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage node infrastructure, validator clusters, and ledger-state synchronization for public or private blockchain networks.

• Implement monitoring frameworks covering block finality, consensus health, propagation delays, and on-chain activity anomalies.

• Oversee smart contract deployment workflows and ensure safe, governed execution across controlled environments.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain high availability, disaster recovery capabilities, and secure key-management protocols.

• Conduct operational risk assessments addressing consensus attacks, network-partition scenarios, and contract-level exposures.

• Develop operational runbooks and governance artifacts aligned with international digital-asset operations standards.

• Support performance engineering efforts including resource optimization, throughput benchmarking, and chain-upgrade procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Distributed Computing, or related discipline.

• 6+ years of experience in blockchain operations, digital asset infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering.

• Proficiency in node configuration, consensus-layer troubleshooting, and smart contract deployment environments.

• Familiarity with cryptographic primitives and secure key management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EVM and non-EVM protocols.

• Knowledge of L2 rollups, interoperability protocols, or enterprise blockchain frameworks.

• Previous leadership in complex operational or production blockchain environments.
