About the Role
An internationally respected fintech banking institution is seeking an innovative Lead Blockchain Developer – Smart Contracts & Institutional Digital Finance to develop secure, high-performance blockchain applications supporting enterprise banking platforms, programmable financial products, tokenized business processes, institutional payment ecosystems, and advanced digital finance initiatives.
This strategic software engineering role combines blockchain application development, smart contract engineering, distributed systems, cloud computing, DevSecOps, enterprise integration, and financial technology innovation. The successful candidate will lead the development of scalable blockchain applications that strengthen digital banking capabilities while enabling secure automation across modern financial ecosystems.
Working alongside Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Artificial Intelligence Specialists, Cybersecurity Professionals, Data Engineers, Quality Assurance teams, Compliance Officers, and Executive Technology Leadership, you will contribute to building one of the Gulf region’s most technologically advanced blockchain-powered fintech environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise blockchain applications for digital banking services.
- Develop secure and optimized smart contracts supporting financial transactions and business automation.
- Build blockchain APIs integrating distributed ledger platforms with enterprise banking systems.
- Optimize blockchain performance, scalability, and operational reliability.
- Conduct smart contract security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate blockchain deployment pipelines.
- Support blockchain infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Produce technical documentation, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture planning and technology evaluation exercises.
- Mentor software engineers and blockchain developers.
- Research emerging blockchain technologies and recommend enterprise adoption strategies.
- Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps supporting digital financial innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Blockchain Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years focused on blockchain development.
- Demonstrated expertise in smart contract development and enterprise blockchain solutions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
