Overview
This role seeks a senior fintech professional with extensive expertise in cross-border payment systems, clearing infrastructures, and financial network interoperability. The position is fully remote and focuses on architecting resilient, high-volume digital payment ecosystems across domestic and international environments.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic systems architect, ensuring that payments function as secure, reliable, and scalable financial infrastructure, with long-term alignment to regulatory and market standards.
Strategic Objectives

Architect high-throughput digital payment systems supporting domestic and cross-border transactions.

Define clearing and settlement models emphasizing real-time and near-real-time operations.

Develop interoperability standards for connecting fintech platforms, banks, and alternative payment rails.

Implement risk mitigation frameworks to address settlement delays, liquidity bottlenecks, and operational exposure.

Integrate regulatory requirements into system design to ensure full compliance with GCC and international standards.
Primary Responsibilities

Design end-to-end payment flow architectures, including clearing, settlement, and reconciliation processes.

Produce comprehensive technical and strategic documentation for executive stakeholders and regulators.

Evaluate emerging payment technologies, tokenized assets, and embedded finance solutions for scalability and systemic impact.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure alignment with market needs.

Advise on resilience, redundancy, and business continuity planning at the system level.
Professional Requirements

12+ years in payments infrastructure, banking operations, or fintech systems architecture.

Deep conceptual understanding of transaction life cycles, settlement finality, and liquidity optimization.

Experience in translating regulatory and compliance frameworks into system design.

Demonstrated ability to produce long-form architectural and strategic documentation for executive audiences.
