This role is a Global Executive Mandate for a senior fintech professional responsible for designing, governing, and scaling high-volume digital payment and settlement systems. The mandate emphasizes strategic system thinking, cross-border interoperability, and regulatory alignment.
The successful candidate will operate as a financial infrastructure architect, ensuring payments are secure, resilient, and compliant, with systemic foresight for future fintech developments.
Strategic Objectives

Architect end-to-end payment systems that support domestic and international settlement.

Define clearing and reconciliation frameworks emphasizing finality, liquidity optimization, and operational resilience.

Establish interoperability models bridging traditional banking, fintech platforms, and emerging payment rails.

Evaluate emerging payment technologies, tokenized digital assets, and embedded finance models for scalability and systemic integrity.

Translate regional and international regulatory frameworks into actionable system design principles.
Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed architectural blueprints including transaction lifecycle diagrams, liquidity routing, and contingency planning.

Lead systemic risk assessments addressing settlement delays, counterparty exposure, and operational bottlenecks.

Advise executive stakeholders on future-proofing infrastructure and adopting programmable financial instruments.

Professional Requirements

12+ years of experience in payment infrastructure, banking operations, or fintech system architecture.
