INVESTMENT MANDATE
The Investment Manager will identify, evaluate, structure, and monitor investment opportunities across the rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
The role combines financial analysis, technology assessment, market intelligence, investment modelling, portfolio strategy, and commercial due diligence. The successful professional will be expected to understand both the economics of financial businesses and the technological infrastructure underlying them.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Source and evaluate fintech investment opportunities.

Conduct financial, commercial, market, and technology due diligence.

Build detailed financial models and investment scenarios.

Assess fintech business models, unit economics, scalability, and competitive positioning.

Evaluate payment, banking, WealthTech, InsurTech, blockchain, and financial-data opportunities.

Prepare investment memoranda and executive-level recommendations.

Conduct valuation analysis and scenario modelling.

Monitor portfolio performance and strategic developments.

Identify potential strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities.

Track emerging fintech markets, technologies, and competitive dynamics.

Collaborate with finance, technology, legal, product, and strategy professionals during investment processes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline.

6+ years of experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, fintech, investment banking, or strategic consulting.

Advanced financial-modelling and valuation skills.

Strong understanding of technology-enabled financial businesses.

Excellent analytical and commercial judgement.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and executive-communication capabilities.
