Position Summary
As Oman strengthens its global financial positioning, there is an urgent requirement for sophisticated governance frameworks that harmonize digital asset adoption, cross-border compliance, and AI-driven RegTech intelligence systems. The Head of RegTech Intelligence will serve as the chief architect of Oman’s international fintech governance strategy, ensuring regulatory robustness while advancing digital financial innovation.
Core Responsibilities

Design and deploy AI-powered RegTech systems to monitor systemic risks, AML compliance, and cross-border financial flows.

Establish global regulatory alignment frameworks, collaborating with BIS, IMF, FATF, and regional central banks.

Lead Oman’s participation in international digital asset policy councils, influencing global regulatory design.

Develop compliance innovation platforms integrating RegTech startups into Oman’s financial ecosystem.

Build a governance structure capable of balancing financial innovation with systemic safety and international credibility.
Ideal Candidate Profile

15–20 years in international financial regulation, compliance intelligence, or fintech policy leadership.

Expertise in AML, KYC, Basel III/IV frameworks, FATF standards, and RegTech deployments.

Strong technical literacy in AI-driven compliance systems, distributed ledgers, and financial data governance.

Global policy presence with experience in multilateral financial negotiations and advisory roles.
