Role Summary

The rapid expansion of global digital commerce has significantly increased demand for high-performance payment infrastructures capable of supporting cross-border transactions, multi-currency processing, and real-time settlement systems.

The Head of Global Payment Networks & Cross-Border Financial Systems will oversee the development and management of advanced fintech infrastructures that facilitate seamless financial transactions across international markets.

Operating remotely while supporting fintech innovation aligned with Qatar’s growing financial ecosystem, this leadership role will guide the deployment of secure payment platforms capable of processing large transaction volumes across global financial networks.

The primary objective of this role is to develop robust payment network infrastructures capable of supporting scalable, reliable, and secure financial transaction environments.

• Enhancing cross-border payment efficiency through optimized financial network architectures.

Core Responsibilities

Global Payment Infrastructure Development

• Design and deploy payment systems capable of processing high transaction volumes.

• Introduce financial network architectures supporting international payment routing.

Cross-Border Settlement Optimization

• Improve transaction settlement processes across multiple financial jurisdictions.

• Develop frameworks that support multi-currency payment operations.

Payment Security & Fraud Prevention

• Implement security frameworks protecting payment networks from fraudulent activity.

• Deploy advanced monitoring systems capable of detecting suspicious financial transactions.

Infrastructure Performance Management

• Ensure high system availability across distributed payment infrastructures.

• Introduce performance optimization strategies improving transaction speed and reliability.

Candidate Requirements

Experience:

12–16 years working within fintech payment systems, financial network infrastructure, or digital banking transaction environments.

Leadership Capability:

Ability to manage international fintech engineering and operations teams responsible for payment platform development.
