This role is focused on architecting governance and control frameworks for advanced fintech platforms, ensuring that innovation is structurally aligned with regulatory accountability, operational discipline, and long-term institutional trust.
The mandate emphasizes preventative governance, embedding controls, oversight logic, and escalation pathways directly into system design rather than relying on after-the-fact compliance mechanisms.
Key Strategic Responsibilities

Design fintech governance and control architectures across digital financial platforms

Define system-embedded regulatory controls, approval logic, and oversight mechanisms

Establish frameworks for auditability, escalation, and regulatory reporting readiness

Align fintech system design with Omani regulatory expectations and international standards

Identify governance gaps introduced by rapid fintech adoption and propose corrective architectures

Produce regulator-grade and executive-level governance documentation
Required Professional Depth

12–15+ years in fintech governance, financial controls, or regulatory systems design

Strong understanding of regulated financial environments and supervisory expectations

Proven experience embedding governance directly into system architecture

Ability to operate independently in a senior remote leadership role
