To lead this transformation, the organization is appointing a Head of Financial Technology Strategy & Platform Innovation.
This role operates at the nexus of financial systems design, long-term strategic planning, and technological orchestration. The mandate is to craft a cohesive fintech architecture that supports rapid product innovation while maintaining operational stability, regulatory alignment, and scalable growth across multiple financial verticals.
The successful candidate will shape the structural evolution of a modern financial ecosystem—ensuring that the platform remains adaptable, resilient, and capable of supporting complex, high-volume financial interactions across the region.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Platform Development
- Define long-term roadmap for integrated fintech platform ecosystems.
- Design frameworks that unify multiple financial products into a cohesive architecture.
- Lead initiatives to modernize and optimize digital banking infrastructure.
- Align platform capabilities with evolving market demands and customer expectations.
- Drive adoption of modular, scalable financial service architectures.
Innovation & Technology Integration
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into fintech platforms.
- Support development of intelligent financial services powered by analytics and automation.
- Foster innovation through pilot programs and experimental product features.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility of strategic initiatives.
- Enable continuous improvement of platform performance and capabilities.
Governance & Operational Oversight
- Establish governance frameworks for platform management and evolution.
- Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations.
- Oversee risk management and operational resilience strategies.
- Monitor system performance and scalability metrics.
- Maintain alignment between strategic goals and operational execution.
Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
- Lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and operations.
- Communicate strategic vision to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Align organizational objectives with platform strategy.
- Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Technology, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in fintech, banking, or financial systems strategy.
- Strong understanding of digital banking and platform architectures.
- Proven leadership in large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities.
