Position Overview
As Head of Embedded Finance Infrastructure & Open Banking Strategy, you will pioneer the integration of financial services into non-financial digital ecosystems, enabling Oman’s transition toward open, interoperable, and data-centric digital finance. This role requires a multidisciplinary leader capable of uniting product, technology, and compliance functions to design the blueprint of a seamless embedded finance landscape across industries.
Responsibilities

Lead the design and governance of Oman’s open banking infrastructure, API standards, and consent-based data-sharing frameworks.

Define strategic roadmaps for embedding digital payments, micro-lending, and financial analytics into e-commerce, logistics, and telco ecosystems.

Oversee technical implementation of embedded finance solutions ensuring interoperability, security, and compliance.

Partner with regional regulators to harmonize data governance, digital ID, and third-party fintech integration standards.

Introduce next-generation open finance ecosystems enabling real-time consumer insights, adaptive credit modeling, and ecosystem-level monetization.
Professional Requirements

8–12 years of experience in fintech architecture, digital product integration, or open banking strategy.

Demonstrated expertise in API economy development, embedded finance platforms, and data orchestration.

Strong grasp of GCC regulatory landscapes for digital banking and cross-sector data exchange.

Advanced capability in aligning technology frameworks with business strategy and compliance architecture.
Preferred Qualifications

MBA or MSc in Financial Technology, Systems Engineering, or Digital Strategy.

Experience leading open banking or embedded finance initiatives within complex digital ecosystems.

Strategic familiarity with European PSD2 and MENA open finance regulatory models.
