Role Overview
A rapidly evolving fintech ecosystem is building a next-generation digital asset infrastructure designed to support tokenized financial instruments, programmable value exchange, and blockchain-enabled settlement systems. This includes tokenized deposits, digital securities, and interoperable asset layers that connect traditional finance with decentralized frameworks.
To lead this initiative, the organization is seeking a Head of Digital Asset Infrastructure & Tokenized Financial Systems.
This role is responsible for designing the underlying infrastructure that enables secure, compliant, and scalable tokenized financial ecosystems. It sits at the convergence of blockchain architecture, regulatory engineering, and institutional-grade financial systems design.
The mandate is to ensure that digital asset systems are not experimental silos, but fully integrated components of regulated financial infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities
Digital Asset Architecture
- Design scalable infrastructure for tokenized financial assets.
- Build secure systems for issuance, transfer, and settlement of digital assets.
- Define architecture for blockchain-integrated financial platforms.
- Ensure interoperability between traditional banking systems and digital assets.
Infrastructure Engineering & Integration
- Oversee development of distributed ledger-based financial systems.
- Integrate tokenization frameworks into existing financial infrastructure.
- Optimize performance of blockchain and hybrid financial systems.
- Ensure scalability for institutional-grade asset operations.
Regulatory & Compliance Engineering
- Embed regulatory requirements into digital asset infrastructure design.
- Collaborate with compliance teams on digital asset governance frameworks.
- Ensure auditability and transparency of tokenized transactions.
- Support regulatory alignment for emerging financial instruments.
Innovation & Ecosystem Development
- Identify opportunities for new tokenized financial products.
- Support development of programmable finance capabilities.
- Enable institutional adoption of digital asset infrastructure.
- Drive innovation in financial asset digitization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial systems engineering.
- Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies.
- Experience with regulated financial environments.
- Proven technical leadership in complex systems.
