Strategic Overview
You will lead the institutionalization of digital assets, designing governance frameworks that transform blockchain innovation into regulated, scalable financial ecosystems.
This role bridges policy, technology, and financial engineering, ensuring that tokenized finance operates within structured, compliant, and economically viable systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Asset Governance Frameworks
- Design governance models for:
- Token issuance and lifecycle management
- Smart contract auditing and validation
- Define operational policies for custody, settlement, and asset transfer
2. Tokenization Strategy Development
- Lead initiatives in:
- Real-world asset (RWA) tokenization
- Digital securities frameworks
- Stablecoin and asset-backed token models
3. Blockchain Infrastructure Oversight
- Evaluate and select blockchain protocols (public vs private vs hybrid)
- Define interoperability strategies across networks
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance
4. Regulatory Interface & Policy Alignment
- Translate evolving Qatar financial regulations into actionable frameworks
- Collaborate with policymakers and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance across digital asset operations
5. Institutional Adoption Strategy
- Design frameworks enabling banks and financial institutions to:
- Integrate digital asset services
- Offer custody and trading solutions
- Build trust models for institutional participation
Candidate Requirements
Strategic Expertise
- Extensive experience in blockchain ecosystems and digital finance
- Proven ability to design governance frameworks at institutional scale
Technical Understanding
- Knowledge of:
- Smart contracts (Solidity, Rust)
- Token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1400)
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols and token economics
Regulatory Acumen
- Strong understanding of global digital asset regulations
- Experience interfacing with regulators or compliance bodies
Performance Benchmarks
- Successful deployment of tokenized financial products
- Regulatory approvals and compliance milestones
- Institutional adoption rates of digital asset frameworks
- Security and audit success metrics
