Role Mandate
The Global Lead will hold strategic and architectural responsibility for the design, evolution, and governance of large-scale digital payments and settlement platforms. The role extends beyond technical delivery to encompass economic logic, settlement finality, operational resilience, and regulatory defensibility, executed within a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities

Architect real-time and near-real-time payment systems supporting domestic, regional, and international transaction flows.

Design settlement and reconciliation frameworks ensuring accuracy, liquidity efficiency, and transaction finality.

Establish global standards for availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and operational continuity.

Embed auditability, transparency, and supervisory access directly into payment system architecture.

Act as a senior architectural authority across distributed, multicultural engineering and governance teams.
Professional Profile

15+ years in global payments infrastructure, financial market systems, or transaction-heavy platforms.

Deep expertise in distributed systems, high-availability architecture, and payment lifecycle management.

Proven experience operating within multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.

Executive-level communication and systems-thinking capability.
