The Global Head of Remote Blockchain Payments & Tokenized Finance Infrastructure will lead the next stage of transformation, positioning Bahrain as a hub for tokenized payments, blockchain clearing systems, and decentralized settlement infrastructures.
Operating remotely while interfacing with regulators, innovation hubs, and cross-border fintech ecosystems, this role is strategically focused on building globally scalable digital value exchange networks. The successful candidate will oversee enterprise blockchain adoption, real-time settlement design, tokenization frameworks for cross-border trade, and the integration of smart contracts into financial services.
Key Responsibilities

Architect enterprise-grade blockchain payment infrastructures capable of global-scale settlement.

Lead deployment of tokenized finance frameworks covering commodities, real estate, bonds, and cross-border remittances.

Design interoperability strategies connecting Bahrain’s blockchain systems with GCC, EU, and Asian markets.

Implement regulatory-aligned digital asset standards, ensuring adoption across traditional and digital banks.

Direct development of real-time clearing networks leveraging blockchain and distributed ledger technology.

Create tokenized trade finance solutions to accelerate global commerce via Bahrain-based corridors.

Establish security-first architecture to combat fraud, cyber risks, and systemic vulnerabilities in tokenized finance.

Develop ecosystem adoption strategies for banks, fintech startups, and corporate treasuries.
Required Expertise

15+ years in payments innovation, blockchain infrastructure, or digital asset ecosystems.

Mastery of tokenization models, decentralized liquidity protocols, CBDC design, and ISO 20022 frameworks.

Strong knowledge of Bahrain’s regulatory landscape, fintech sandboxes, and cross-border compliance standards.

Proven ability to lead remote-first, global-scale fintech infrastructure programs.
