Role Imperative

This role drives the strategic reinvention of digital treasury operations, orchestrating real-time liquidity intelligence, intraday settlement synchronization, cross-rail treasury optimization, counterparty exposure telemetry, and regulatory capital friction minimization across Saudi Arabia’s evolving institutional payment ecosystem.

You will lead a digital treasury capability that balances liquidity availability, settlement prioritization, systemic risk minimization, and cross-corridor FX exposure mitigation under regulatory constraints.


Multi-Layer Functional Responsibilities

Real-Time Liquidity Intelligence

  • Engineer intraday liquidity heatmaps derived from dynamic corridor velocity vectors, merchant inflow cadence, and batch settlement rhythms.

  • Extend treasury intelligence using Bayesian forecasting models to project liquidity scarcity windows.

Cross-Rail Settlement Orchestration

  • Deploy orchestration engines balancing settlement priority across:

    • real-time gross settlement (RTGS),

    • instant payments,

    • cross-border corridor rails,

    • tokenized settlement layers.

Regulatory Capital Alignment

  • Model liquidity coverage ratios (LCR) under varying asset allocation stress vectors.

  • Architect capital lock windows dynamically based on regulatory obligation saturation.


Technology Architecture Layers

  • Containerized microservices with stateful session affinity to minimize reconciliation drift.

  • Multi-cloud cluster coordination using consensus-aware scheduling to preserve high-availability.


Risk Analytics Modules

  • Integrate vector autoregression (VAR) models detecting systemic liquidity dependencies.

  • Deploy stress event propagation maps simulating settlement cascading failure.


Performance Optimization

  • Compress settlement window length by deploying probability-bounded queuing logic.

  • Apply network flow optimization to reroute liquidity across underutilized corridors.


Experience Profile

  • 12+ years in treasury systems engineering, settlement design, or FX exposure analytics.

  • Advanced degree in Monetary Economics, Financial Engineering, or Systems Design.
