Role Overview:
As the United Arab Emirates continues to lead the GCC in financial innovation, the Global Head of Digital Banking Transformation will architect, direct, and scale the nation’s next-generation digital financial systems. This role will encompass strategic leadership across digital banking modernization, open finance evolution, AI-based personalization, and decentralized financial infrastructure design.
The successful candidate will define a comprehensive strategy that aligns fintech transformation with global competitiveness, user-centricity, and systemic resilience—bridging technology, regulation, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-wide digital banking frameworks powered by AI, machine learning, and data analytics.

Oversee the modernization of retail and corporate banking through open API ecosystems, embedded finance, and cross-border digital payments.

Define digital governance models ensuring data integrity, cybersecurity, and full regulatory compliance under UAE and global standards.

Foster integration between fintech startups, traditional institutions, and global technology alliances to enhance financial innovation ecosystems.

Develop long-term transformation roadmaps enabling cloud-native banking and digital identity verification.
Qualifications & Expertise:

12+ years in fintech, digital banking architecture, or financial systems transformation.

Proven experience leading multi-country digital banking modernization projects.

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Data Science, or Systems Architecture.

Expertise in ISO 20022 standards, AI-driven personalization, and real-time payments.

Strategic understanding of regulatory environments across GCC and international markets.
