Strategic Mandate
The Global Head of Fintech Embedded Finance & API-Driven Financial Services Architecture will define how financial capabilities are exposed, consumed, and governed across digital ecosystems. This role governs the financial services layer as infrastructure, enabling non-financial platforms to integrate payments, accounts, and financial logic seamlessly.
The mandate centres on building secure, scalable, and institution-grade financial APIs that allow fintech capabilities to be embedded without eroding control, transparency, or financial accountability.
Core Responsibilities

Architect API-first financial platforms supporting embedded payments and financial services

Define standards for financial service exposure, consumption, and lifecycle management

Design permissioning, authentication, and control frameworks for embedded finance environments

Ensure financial accountability, traceability, and reconciliation across API-driven interactions

Establish governance models for partner access, service evolution, and versioning

Integrate embedded finance architectures with core ledgers, treasury, and reporting systems

Produce platform blueprints, API governance playbooks, and technical strategy documents

Act as a senior authority on embedded finance scalability and structural risk
Required Expertise

12–18+ years in fintech platforms, API-driven systems, or financial service architecture

Strong understanding of how financial products behave when embedded externally

Experience designing high-volume, partner-facing financial platforms

Exceptional architectural reasoning and cross-domain communication skills

Proven leadership in global, remote-first operating environments
